This piece is has two distinct, physical personas that are interchangeable to the base.
The persona pictured above, made from hand forged stainless steel and copper is continuously covered with water and or methanol. This form also contains a controllable combustion which enables the overflowing fluids to vaporize and steam.
The other is a hand blown glass piece that has a continuous vortex of water running through it. This vortex of water is then under lit by a 300w halogen light. Another aspect of this persona is a continuous vortex of fire which burns within the air space of the vortex of water.
